Shelf Life & Storage
Best used within 12 months of the packaging date when unopened. Once opened, we recommend finishing within 3 months for the best aroma and flavour.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not required. Ghee naturally solidifies in cold weather and turns liquid again in warmth — this is normal and does not affect quality.
Best Uses
- Tempering (tadka) for dal and curries
- Drizzling over hot rice, khichdi or rotis
- Traditional sweets like ladoo, halwa and payasam
- A spoon in warm milk or coffee

Does this need refrigeration?

Why has my ghee turned solid or grainy?

Is this suitable for infants?
Small amounts are traditionally given to children over 1 year in many households — please check with your pediatrician for guidance specific to your child.
Is this ghee vegetarian?
Yes — ghee is a dairy product and is suitable for a vegetarian diet.
